Doorstops incised "CN" on the back are new. These doorstops are imported
from China.
New Design Doorstop
This base above as seen also on the Hen
Doorstop to the right is an indication of a new cast iron design. Any cast
iron piece with this base can positively be identified as a new piece.
The design to the right should appear on the original as yellow or pink. This
contrasting white on the rose color is a sure indication that the
doorstop on the left above
is a reproduction.
